This conversion was in an existing town house which was already four-storeys high, and we created a fifth. The fire regulations were onerous because of the height of the building. The conversion which was close to a busy road also incorporated acoustic insulation and layering to eliminate road noise into the space which was to be used as a home office. Storage space was created into the eaves and LED lighting hidden into the joinery items provided a great looking internal space.
